Who we are


Since its inception Hispanic American Library has been the reference library of technical books, and computer scientists in Barcelona and its surroundings. Our bibliographic comprises the vast majority of publishing imprints most prestigious technical and information in Castilian, as well as a detailed selection of technical and computer books in English.


Hispanic American Library was founded in Barcelona in 1937 and was acquired by Marcombo, SA in 1950. Since then, the library is oriented to the dissemination and sale of technical books, and computer science, becoming then the technical reference library. 2000 Des prize there Ginesta Boixareu Josep Maria who was for more than 35 years responsible for our library. This award annually recognizes the work of a Spanish bookseller.LocationThe bookstore is located in the heart of Barcelona, less than 5 minutes from Plaza Catalunya and just off University Plaza.
